S30 buffer solution | 20x stock

Not For dialysis use, dialysis use S30 is prepared at 5mM Tris-Acetate and 1mM DTT
Per 1000mL of 20x S30 buffer
Tris-Acetate 36.24g (200mM, final concentration of 1X stock is 10mM)
Magnesium acetate tetrahydrate Mg(OAc)24H2O 60g
Potassium acetate KOAc 117.8g
pH 8.2
Preparation
Dissolve 1 volume of S30 buffer 20x stock in 19 volumes of million-Q water, and use directly.
Before use add 1mL of 1 M DTT(Dithiothreitol 2mM, final concentration) to 500mL S30 buffer.
*Heat the solution in a water bath to over 30°C if precipitates appear at the bottom of the solution. DO NOT use until the precipitate is completely dissolved.
*Because the solution is prone to form minor precipitates of Mg(OH)2 / MgCO3 at high pH, the original 50x stock product has been discontinued and updated to 20x stock.
