Introduction:

Timentin is a maixture of Ticarcillin Sodium(CAS No:4697-14-7) and Clavulanate Potassium(CAS No:61177-45-5.) in a 15:1 ratio.

Bioactivity:Wide range of antibacterial activity against Gram-positive, negative, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Its components are Ticarcillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium (Ticarcillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium), the ratio of Ticarcillin Sodium to Clavulanate Potassium is 15:l according to the effective acid, Ticarcillin is a penicillin-based bactericidal reagent, while Clavulanic acid is an irreversible and highly effective beta-lactamase inhibitor. A wide range of Gram-positive (G+) and negative (G-) bacteria produce β-lactamases, which destroy penicillin before it can act on the pathogen. Clavulanic acid restores ticarcillin susceptibility by disrupting the bacterial defense barrier by blocking beta-lactamases. Potassium clavulanate has little antibacterial effect alone, but its configuration with ticarcillin makes it an antibiotic with broad-spectrum bactericidal action, suitable for empirical treatment of a wide range of bacterial infectious diseases. It is often used in scientific research to inhibit the growth of Agrobacterium, especially in embryonic healing tissue regeneration systems, to achieve excellent bacterial inhibition and regeneration.

working concentration 100~500mg/l.
