Components
Basic medium for galactose induction, per litre
Yeast nitrogen base w/o amino acids 6.7 g
Amino acid drop-out mix 0.87 g
Sodium lactate 25.6 ml
Glycerol 30 ml
Preparation
Suspend 7.6 g of A powder, 30 ml of B (Glycerol), and 25.6 ml of C (Sodium lactate) in distilled water, make up to 1000 ml.
Sterilise by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes. Aliquot as needed.
