High-efficiency cell culture/fermentation steriliser
Suitable for sterilisation & cleaning of fermenters, bioreactors, and cell culture vessels.
Package contains
Basic formula 10X stock 500ml - 5L working solution can be prepared
Broad-spectrum and efficient sterilisation with short processing time. Can thoroughly sterilise bacteria and strip the lipid-protein residue from the vessel wall and is used to pre-prepare bioreactors or culture chambers to avoid contamination of fermentation or cell culture.
Non-chlorine formula, no corrosion of metallic walls and pipelines*
The working solution has a mild oxidant ingredient and neutral pH value and does not age plastic and rubber pipe walls.
Thoroughly sterilise bacteria within 2 to 3 hours (after adding synergists), much less than the 10 hours of traditional glutaraldehyde sterilant
Suitable for sterilisation preparation before use and cleaning after use of various bacterial fermenters, bioreactors, and cell culture vessels.
Suitable for sterilisation of various metal, glass, and plastic surfaces
For thorough sterilisation of various hard-to-kill bacilli, fungi, spores, and good inactivation of most viruses and pathogenic proteins.

Use
Mix stock and double-distilled water in the ratio of 1:9, add synergist (optional) and mix well to make a working solution. Pour the working solution into the reactor or pipeline at a dose of 250-500ml per square meter of the treatment area, shake until the surface is completely wetted and leave it for 3~5 hours to achieve complete sterilisation.
If no synergist is added, a longer sterilization time is needed. It is recommended to shake the reactor several times every 2~3 hours to keep the surface treated in a wet state.
After sterilisation, pour out the working solution and rinse the walls with sterile water (MQ-water, 5 times the volume of the working solution should be prepared) 2 to 3 times until the residual solution is free of visible bubbles, ready for subsequent bacterial or cell culture.
(Note) If cells are subsequently cultured for transfection or transformation, wash the walls thoroughly at least 3 times with sterile water (10 times the volume of working solution recommended) to completely remove any surfactant residues that interfere with cell membrane function.
For large-volume reactors or fermenters, the working solution can also be sprayed onto the inner surface of the equipment using an air-spray device. We recommended that the working solution be used in conjunction with effervescent powder, where a large number of bubbles can quickly fill the entire reactor, carrying the working solution to soak each surface to be treated.
*Knowledge: Chloride ions can corrode stainless steel in a high-temperature environment with a primary cell structure, commonly found near flange devices in contact with gaskets of copper and zinc.
For sterilisation of large-scale industrial fermentation or cell culture equipment, we also offer design & customization of 245/255/275/365nm UVC-LED Array-based Deep Ultraviolet Irradiation sterilization equipment and related technical consultation.
